Tower of Hanoi is a free classic disk puzzle you can play in your browser. Move an entire stack to a new peg one disk at a time without placing a larger disk on a smaller one. Casual with undo, Perfect Run, or Time Attack on eight disks.

How to play Tower of Hanoi

  1. Pick Casual (undo allowed, 3–8 disks — larger counts unlock after clearing the previous size in Casual), Perfect Run (no undo, lose if moves exceed 2^N − 1), or Time Attack (8 disks, clock runs).
  2. Tap a peg to lift its top disk, then tap another peg to place it. Larger disks cannot sit on smaller ones — invalid moves shake and do not count.
  3. Move the entire stack to the rightmost peg to win.
  4. Perfect Run move cap is the optimal 2^N − 1 moves. Time Attack allows extra moves but scores time and efficiency.

Win score = max(0, 1000 − 25 × extra moves − seconds), where extra moves = moves used − (2^N − 1). Best score is saved per mode and disk count on this device.
