Play Go Fish free in your browser. Ask 1–3 computers for a rank you hold, draw when they say go fish, and race to the most books. Easy, Medium, and Hard.

How to play Go Fish

  1. Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard, and 1, 2, or 3 computer opponents. You sit at the bottom. With one opponent, Juno is across the table. With two, Nova is on the left and Rex is on the right. With three, Juno sits at the top as well.
  2. Two or three players are dealt 7 cards. Four players are dealt 5. The rest is the draw pile. If a hand already has four of a rank, that book is laid down before the first turn.
  3. On your turn, tap a card to choose that rank, tap an opponent who still has cards, then tap Ask. Cancel clears the choice. You can only ask for a rank you currently hold.
  4. If they have that rank, they give you every card of it and you go again. If not, they say go fish and you draw one card. Draw the rank you asked for and you go again. Any other card passes the turn. An empty pile passes the turn without a draw.
  5. Four of a kind is a book and leaves your hand immediately. A player with no cards at the start of their turn draws one, or is out for the rest of the game if the pile is empty. Players with no cards are never asked.
  6. The game ends when all 13 books are made, when no cards are left, or when nobody can be asked. If the pile is empty and a full round passes with no cards moving, the hand ends so it cannot loop. Most books wins. An equal top score is a tie.
  7. Easy asks at random. Medium remembers who asked for which rank and prefers an opponent known to hold it. Hard also weighs how many cards of that rank are still unaccounted for. Computers pause briefly and show who is asking. Pause and the tab hiding both stop the timer. Sound is off until you turn it on.

Your books are the score. The result lists every player. A sole win adds to the win count for that difficulty and opponent count. Ties and losses do not. The best book count on this device is kept for the same difficulty and opponent count, even when you do not win.
