How to play Sudoku

  1. Daily is on by default; Classic is unlimited random boards (?daily=0). Pick size and Easy, Medium, or Hard.
  2. Tap a cell, then a digit or keyboard key. Pencil mode stores candidates. Givens are locked.
  3. Undo, redo, erase, and Hint (fills one cell and adds 30 s). Conflicts can be highlighted in settings.
  4. Progress autosaves per puzzle — refresh restores grid, notes, and time until you finish correctly.

Ranking is completion time (lower is better). Hints add 30 s. Daily saves one best time per UTC day; Play again after finishing daily does not overwrite that time. Streaks count consecutive daily wins.
