Play a hidden-fleet guessing game in your browser. Place your ships, fire salvo-by-salvo or one shot at a time, and beat three computer difficulties on Classic or Quick boards.
How to play Sea Battle
Pick Classic (10×10, five ships) or Quick (8×8, four ships), a difficulty, and options for touching ships or salvo fire (one shot per ship still afloat each turn).
Drag ships from the tray onto the grid, or drag ships already placed. Tap a placed ship to rotate around its anchor. Ghost cells show legal placement. Randomize fills the grid; Ready starts when every ship is placed.
You fire first on the enemy grid. Misses show as dots, hits as X marks, sunk ships get a hatch pattern. The computer waits briefly between shots.
Easy fires at random open cells. Medium hunts on a checkerboard, then targets neighbors and lines after a hit. Hard scores likely ship locations from remaining lengths and hunts adjacent to hits.
Win by sinking every enemy ship before yours is gone. Your shot count and accuracy appear on the result screen; fewest winning shots is saved per mode and difficulty. Progress resumes after a reload until the match ends.
Wins and losses are saved per mode and difficulty on this device. On a win, your total shots fired is compared to your best (fewest shots). Accuracy is hits divided by shots for the finished match only.
