Play Speed free in your browser. Race one computer to empty your hand on two center piles. Classic, Quick, or a shared daily deal, with Wrap K–A on by default.
How to play Speed
Pick Classic (full deck), Quick (smaller draw piles), or Daily. Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard. Daily locks Medium with wrap-around K–A on. Toggle Wrap K–A in the gear menu for other modes.
You and the computer each have five face-up hand cards, a draw pile, and a flip pile. Two center piles start face-up. Play a hand card onto a pile when its rank is one above or below the pile top (Ace is low). With wrap on, King and Ace connect.
Tap a card: if only one pile is legal, it plays there; if both are legal, tap the pile next. Drag a card onto a pile. After each play your hand refills from your draw pile up to five cards.
When neither side can play, both flip one card onto the center piles after a short pause. If a flip pile is empty, under-cards from the center are shuffled back into empty flip piles. If nothing remains to recycle, the game is a draw.
You win when your hand and draw pile are both empty (your flip pile may still hold cards). The computer wins under the same rule. Daily uses the same deal for everyone on that UTC day.
Stats stay on this device: wins, losses, and ties by difficulty, your fastest win time, and the daily best for each UTC date (wins beat losses; faster wins and fewer cards left break ties).
