Hashi is a free bridges puzzle you can play in your browser. Connect numbered islands with one or two straight bridges so every count is exact and the islands form one network. Daily 9×9 boards, Classic sizes, undo, hints, and autosave included.
Also known as: hashiwokakero, bridges puzzle, island bridges
Play Hashi free online in your browser — connect islands with bridges on daily boards or Classic Easy, Medium, and Hard grids.
How to play Hashi
Daily is on by default: one Medium 9×9 board per UTC day. Classic (?daily=0) offers Easy 7×7, Medium 9×9, or Hard 11×11.
Tap an island, then another in its row or column, or drag between them. The bridge cycles from one strand to two, then off. Islands need at least one empty cell between them.
Bridges stay straight, never cross, and never pass through an island. An illegal link shakes and is not placed. Removing a bridge is allowed even if it splits the network.
An island turns green when its bridges match its number, and red when it has too many. Connected appears once every island is in one network.
Undo, redo, and Reset. Check marks bridges that are not in the solution. Hint adds or removes one strand toward that solution and counts against your best.
You win when every island is satisfied and the bridges form one connected network. The timer starts on the first bridge and pauses while the tab is hidden.
Best time wins, then fewer hints. Classic stores one best per difficulty. Daily stores one win per UTC day plus a streak, on this device. A later slower finish does not replace that best.
