Also known as: water sort, color sort puzzle, sort balls in tubes
Free ball sort puzzle in your browser: pour colored balls into matching tubes, use spare tubes wisely, and beat the par time from Easy to Expert.
How to play Ball Color Sorting
Step the difficulty from Easy to Expert while the board is untouched; each preset sets the colour count, the lane height and how many spare empty lanes you get.
Drag the topmost ball of a lane onto another lane, or tap the source lane and then the destination lane.
A pour is only legal onto an empty lane or onto a matching top colour, and no lane can hold more balls than its height.
The clock starts on your first successful pour, so plan your opening while it still reads 0:00.
Use Undo to back out of a dead end — it rewinds the board and the move counter, but not the clock.
Win when every lane is either empty or completely filled with one colour.
Each difficulty has a par time of its rating × 4 seconds: 32s on Easy, 64s on Medium, 100s on Hard and 288s on Expert. Finishing at or under par scores the full 100, and after that you lose one point per second over par, so the score reaches 0 at par plus 100 seconds. Your move count is tracked and reported but never affects the score.
