Play Blackjack free in your browser. Play chips only. No real money. Hit, stand, double, or split in Classic, Quick, or a shared daily shoe.

How to play Blackjack

  1. Play chips only. No real money. Choose Classic, Quick, or Daily. Daily opens from a link with ?daily=1 and uses a shoe shared for that UTC date. Each session starts at 1000 play chips. Add 10, 25, 50, or 100 to your bet, then Clear, or Repeat last bet when you can afford the previous wager.
  2. The shoe is six decks (312 cards). Before each deal, if 78 or fewer cards remain, the shoe is shuffled. If a draw finds the shoe empty mid-hand, it shuffles immediately and the hand continues.
  3. You and the dealer each receive two cards. The dealer’s hole card stays hidden. If the upcard is an Ace, insurance is offered first for exactly half the bet, and it is hidden when you cannot cover that half. The dealer then peeks. A ten-value upcard peeks with no insurance. Dealer blackjack ends the round before Hit, Stand, Double, or Split. Your natural blackjack pays 3:2 immediately when the dealer does not have one.
  4. Hit or Stand. Double on the first two cards of a hand and take exactly one more card. Double is hidden when you cannot afford another full bet. Split a pair once. 10, J, Q, and K count as one pair. You cannot re-split. Double after a non-ace split is allowed. Split aces receive one card each and no further action. A 21 made after a split or a double is not a blackjack and pays 1:1. There is no surrender.
  5. The dealer stands on hard 17 and on soft 17, and draws only when at least one of your hands is still live. One ace counts as 11 when that does not bust; every other ace counts as 1. A,A is Soft 12. A,A,9 is 21. The total shows Soft 17 when an ace is 11 and the total is under 21. Otherwise it shows 21, Blackjack, or Bust.
  6. A win pays 1:1, a blackjack pays 3:2, and a push returns the stake. Insurance pays 2:1 only when the dealer has blackjack; otherwise the insurance stake is lost. A split can win one hand and lose the other. The banner lists each hand, such as Win, Push, or Bust, and lists insurance separately. Insurance is not its own hand.
  7. Classic lasts until you end the session. If your chips drop below 10, you can take a free refill to 1000. Net result is final chips minus chips granted, counting the start plus any refill, so a refill is not a win. Quick is 10 hands, or until chips are under 10, with no refill. The Quick score is chips left. Daily is 20 hands from 1000. The date key is fixed when the session starts, so UTC midnight during play does not change the shoe. Reloading starts a new session on that day’s same shoe order. In-progress hands are not restored. Restart abandons the session and returns to the mode picker without saving a partial Quick or Daily score. Hands already finished still update lifetime stats.
  8. The gear checkbox Practice is saved on this device. It shows a basic-strategy hint for these rules: the dealer stands on soft 17, double after split is allowed, there is no surrender, and pairs cannot be re-split. Insurance is never recommended. If Double or Split is illegal, the hint falls back to Hit or Stand. Session accuracy is correct decisions divided by decisions made, and it is not saved on this device.

Lifetime stats on this device count each resolved player hand: hands played, wins, losses, pushes, and blackjacks. A split can add one win and one loss. Biggest win is the largest single-round net. Quick keeps the best chips-left score. Daily keeps the best chips left for each UTC date, and the best among those daily scores. Play chips only. No real money.
